I am riding Portena and my great niece, Courtney Vary, is riding Andar. The RMIHC banner is being held by Carey Hancock, my foster daughter. This is the 65th Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade held on July 13, 2005.
Yes, it was very HOT that day,
just ask Carey who had to pound the pavement!!!!
Courtney and I are wearing authentic dresses imported from Spain, the Andalusian Flamenco dress worn in parades or ferias there.

Here's a nice picture of our Group, the RMIHC members. We were dressed for the 100th National Western Stock Show Parade. From left to right:
TJ on Temeario VII owned by Grand Prix Andalusians.
Louis on an Andalusian borrowed from Amy Star.
Star and Amy Star on their perspective Buckskin AQHA and Lusitano.
Deb Simmons in our club colors of Black and Red on Rebecca Interagro, a rose grey Lusitano mare recently purchased from Sonho Lusitanos.
Regina A. Cranmer on Andar, a PRE mare.
Tylecka Simmons on Teal, a double registered Half Andalusian and Azteca.

We love representing the RMIHC group on our Andalusians,
Half Andalusians and Lusitanos.
This is us on March 12, 2005 at the St. Patrick's Day Parade
in Old Colorado City.
It was 75 degrees that day, and 25,000 people came out to celebrate the festivities.

Julie on Gus for the
Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade on
July 7, 2007
It's too bad you can't see the
incredible Swarcski crystals
that Julie laborously applied
one at the time.

July 8, 2008 "Official" Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade photo. Regina is in Purple in the back on Diamante, next to Carey in Red riding Andar. Jennifer on her Freisian Stallion, front and forward, and Julie on her magnificent Gus, a stunning Percheron. We won the Silver Spur Award. This is our 5th consecutive year competing at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parades.

2004 Colordo State Fair
Regina is walking Lucero de Soria into the barn.
Deb Simmons is riding Teal in a Renassiance Costume.
Deb told me this is the first time she's ever worn a dress on a horse. Great Job!!!!

This is Carey on Andar and Regina riding Diamante De Valmoor at the Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade in July of 2006. We were soaking wet, but our costumes and hair made it through the whole thing. Actually, there were more people IN the parade than were watching the parade on the streets.

Just a great big smile on Regina with Andar chewing on her Alta Escuela bit at the 100th National Western Stock Show Parde.

Hi Everyone!!!
I'm Olivio.
Also known as:
Ollie Ollie Oxen Free,
The Flying Monkey,
The Wookie
and Pig.
This is Regina's pet pot belly pig
from the best breeder in America!
He will be small, housebroken and a
loving little piglet. Is that how
you spell "piglet", like "eyelet"?
I have no clue.
Email me if you open this page,
just for laughs and giggles...

Julie riding Percheron Gus followed by
Regina on Diamante in 17th Century
purple velvet costume and
Carey on Andar dressed in her brilliant
red and gold Renaissance costume for the
Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Parade on July 7, 2007.
Check out the detail of work on Gus,
Julie glued every one of those Swarovski
crystals on by hand, one after another.
Everyone was blown away by the beauty and
elegance of our group representing
Equestrian Theater and Performing Arts
Horse Association.
We were 4th from the end of the Parade,
at a comfortable 93 degrees.

Lovely Carey riding Andar on Jan.9, 2007 at the
101th National Western Stock Show Parade in
Denver, CO. The outfit really is gorgeous!
|
This is me, Regine the Queen. What else would you expect with a name that means that??? I really enjoyed this parade, the 101th National Western Stock Show Parade held on Jan. 9, 2007. At least the sun was out, as we road right through the center of the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver. Now, that's some ridin'. Our sponsored group is The Equestrain Theater and Performing Arts, our motto - Just Ride!!!
